SONNETS

I don't care much for most sonnets that people write. Especially now. Like right now. As we speak. Someone is writing a sonnet and I don't care too much for that sonnet. Cut it out already. And don't get me started on sestinas! ME-OW! What happens when a dinosaur writes a sonnet?
Oh, no one will ever know the answer to that.

I LOVE THE INTERNET

MORE INTERNET MEMES PLZ!

I am going to keep on doing this until I can start doing other things.

DON'T BE WORRIED, CAT

HAPPY AMERICA, AMERICA

It's Friday at 2:38PM. You know what that means? 6 more hours and then I won't remember what my name is anymore.
I love you America, America.

SO FAR SO GOOD

No fires in LA. But there a lot of sunlight, guacamole and fruit-bearing trees. God-bless you friends on this, the most joyous occasion.

HAIR

I got a screenshot of this Woody Allen movie because I was pretty certain that I wanted this haircut next time I get a haircut. Now I am not so sure about this whole bag of beans.

DELAY

Sorry. My computer was sick and at the computer hospital. Jessica is CA. Paul is too busy captioning New Yorker cartoons. Tomorrow I am going to LA.
Cry about it.

Forget almost everything you know about: words, poetry, books, dinosaurs, handbags, postage stamps.

Obvs. not everything.

BUSINESS is re-creating the meaning of meaning.

And Christine needs a new day job.

THINGS

We did some things.

DOING THINGS

Another reason to be excited about this weekend:

Business is doing things.

That's right, this very day the staff of business will start work on the very first issue of Business.

Happy Birthday, America

THE FUTURE

and the past kind of.

Last night a gypsy lady stopped me on the street. She said that she saw nothing but good things for me. She did not curse me. And I will always honor her memory, since I saw the movie Thinner and the preview for Drag Me to Hell and I know what gypsies are capable of doing.

I think she might be right. You want to know why? Your (and Ben Mirov's) favorite blog is also a literary journal that will have its debut so soon that you can probably shake a stick at it if you happen to have an extra stick.

May you be half way as blessed as I am going to be.
