I do not own Balto or The Crow. Now on with the Show!
People once believed that when someone dies a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then, sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.
(The setting is Nome, Alaska. A goose and a red husky are running/flying to a grey wolf. They stop to catch a breath.)
Aleu(the grey wolf): Kodi! Boris! What brings you here?
Boris(the goose): Aleu, I'm afraid we have some bad news.
Aleu: What?
Kodi: Aleu our mother and father are... dead.
Aleu: What? How did they die?
Boris: Apparently they were beaten to death by someone either human or animal. (puts a wing on Alue) I'm sorry Aleu.
(Aleu hangs her head down. Now we are in a town where a funeral is taking place. Humans and animals are there to mourn. A body of a grey wolf is set in a grave and buried with a tombstone above the grave that says "Here lies Balto Hero Wolf of Nome." 70 years later the whole town is full of big buildings. The gravestone of Balto still stands. It's night and it's snowing and a male crow is watching the grave. He glides over to the tombstone and lands on it. Then he starts tapping it with his beak.)
Kodak the crow: Time to wake up Balto.
